Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in Hartford Children’s Theatre (HCT) and our programs. Together, I hope we can work towards our leading mission -

To enrich the lives of the children of Greater Hartford by providing access and exposure to high quality theatre for young audiences and related educational opportunities.

HCT has numerous ways in which we work towards this goal, both in our Lincoln Financial Family Main Stage Series and our Drama School. Some of these opportunities include:

  • ushering
  • backstage assistance
  • theater makeup and/or hair
  • classroom assistance
  • sewing and administrative assistance

We do not require a specific hourly commitment; however we do require volunteers to complete an application process prior to volunteering at HCT. This process includes the completion of the following:
