Four generous donors enabled a gorgeous renovation of our Carriage House Theatre lobby.  Pictured at the island-themed going away party for Greater Hartford Arts Council’s former deputy director, Alecia Townsend Kintner, are HCT board member Kim Pita, husband Paul Pita, both of Pita Communications, former HCT executive director Michael Campbell, and Rie Poirier-Campbell, recently appointed deputy director of the Greater Hartford Arts Council.

Kate Preston, Executive Vice President of Enterprise Development for Travelers was the 2007 recipient of the Hartford Children’s Theatre “Kid at Heart” award for her contributions to the young people of the Greater Hartford community. The “Kid at Heart” gala raised $50,000 for the theatre and Ms. Preston sang “The Power of Dream” with the children. Travelers was the primary sponsor of the event that had over 200 people in attendance and was held at Joe Black’s Restaurant in downtown Hartford.
